We are Scheduled!!!

Well yesterday they called me. My C-section is scheduled for Feb. 23rd. They will call the day before to give us a time. It's really feeling real now. I can't believe that in less than a month we will meet our daughter. So no later than the 23rd, she will be here. We can't wait!!!!

Diaper Party & Mommy, Son Getaway

Today Kevin had his diaper party. It lasted until around 4am. All the guys had such a great time, and pumpkin received A LOT of diapers. Thank you to everyone who came and I am glad you all had a good time.

Since it was boys night, My mom, Nathan and I stayed at a hotel. It was a real nice getaway for us. Nathan loved the indoor waterpark.

He had so much fun. And so did I. It was a nice little getaway just him and I before Pumpkin comes.

Week 3 of NST

Week 3 of NST, and still all is well. Except the one time they buzzed her to get her moving (Friday) she was MAD!!!! Her heartrate shot up, and it took awhile to come down. It was actually kind of funny. She was not having it.

My BP was a little high, so Dr. Al-jerdi said we would keep an eye on it, and if it stays up, he will need to take me off work. I guess we will see what he says at my next appt. (02/01/11)
He also advised me they will be calling me in a few days to schedule my C-section. I can't believe it!!!!

Week 2 of NST

Week #2 for my NST, and still everything is good. Pumpkin's heartbeat is nice and strong. Still not too active, even after they buzzed her.

Today also marked my weekly appointments. I now also see Dr. Al-Jerdi every Tuesday after my NST. We should be scheduling my C-section anytime now. It is going to really feel real then.

Morning spent in Triage at Hospital

I woke up at around 3 in the morning, and all of a sudden got this real sharp pain above my belly. I was able to get up, walk around, and drink some water, but was in a lot of pain. It must have went away some because I was able to fall back asleep. When my alarm went off, the pain was really dull, so I figured I could head to work for 4 hours then talk to the doctor when I went in for my NST. I hopped in the shower, got dressed and drove to work. Well as I was driving the pain got so bad I was in tears. I finally pulled over and called the 24hr line that I use to call in my blood sugars. They said to come on in so I can get checked out.

They hooked me up to a montior, drew blood, and took a urine sample. Everything came back fine, and pumpkin was doing well. With no other symptoms, they sent me home. Once I got home I slept most of the day. I am not sure what that pain was, but man did it hurt. I am just glad it went away and it was nothing serious

Week 1 of NST

Started my NST's this week. So far so good. I love laying on that recliner, and listening to her heart beat. They did buzz her both times to wake her up, but she still wasn't very active. Because she is breech, I don't feel her kicks too often.
I can't wait to meet our little girl.

Bi-weekly Appointment

Went to another appt today. All is well. I lost a pound and my BP was 110/70. Pumpkin sounds good, and her HB was 148bpm. Dr. Al-jerdi scheduled my NST's starting next week. I have to go on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon.

I can't believe how close it is getting. I am starting to prepare my "to do" list. We are trying to get everything together before she arrives.

My next doc. appt is on the 18th. We will then be able to schedule the C-section. SO exciting!!!!

Side Note: Kevin has decided the Diaper Party will be on Jan 29th after 3pm. He is excited to have a day/night with the guys. So now Nathan and I have to figure out what were are going to do for the day/night??? Were going to have some nice bonding time just the 2 of us. I can't wait. We also booked our mini family vacation for the end of March.
