They Changed it

Well Kevin and I went to the doctors yesterday for another appointment. All went well, I lost another pound!!! They assured me not to worry because it happens. We heard the heartbeat again, very strong. A plus was my mom was there and got to hear it. She was just about in tears. I was very happy to share that with her. Peanut was swimming around a lot, but finally chilled long enough to give us a good listen. After we heard the heartbeat, I asked her if they were changing my due date, since the ultrasound tech. said they might. She said yes indeed it is changing from May 15th to May 24th. But as we all know its just a estimate. Our next appt is on Jan. 22nd we have an ultrasound appt at 4:30 and we see the doc at 5:00pm. I can't wait to see peanut again.

First Ultrasound

Well Kevin and I had our first ultrasound appt. It was totally amazing. In just a few seconds on the screen was our little peanut. Everything looks great. It seemed like every min. Kevin would ask the tech "So everything look good" and of course we always got a "yes" response. Peanut is adorable. I am even more in love than before. We seen the heartbeat and it was very strong and at 163bpm. I was just amazed. Peanut looked to be sleeping the whole time, and then I swear he/she let out a big yawn. It was SO CUTE!!!! Thursday marks our 18 weeks. But the tech said peanut is measuring 16 and a half weeks. (my original thought) She said she was going to show the pics to the doc on Wednesday and he will decide if they want to push back my due date. She also said it looks to be too soon to tell the sex. But we advised her that we don't want to know it. So she didn't feel bad she couldn't tell us. I did ask her why I didn't get the 3D, like they told me I would. She said its because things are still forming and the 3D would look scary. But my next ultrasound will be Jan 22 and it will definitly be the 3D. I cannot wait to see our little one again.

I am going to be a Aunt

Well yesterday my brother Matt and sister n law Kristal told us they are expecting. I am SO excited to finally be a Aunt. I am going to be the bestest Aunt ever. They are due July 19th, 2008. I think it is so cool that are babies are going to grow up together. This is the best news.

We heard it!!!!

Yesterday at my doctors appt, I got to hear the heartbeat. WOW!!!! It was AMAZING!!! When she put the goo on my belly, and was getting to doppler out, she said "Now it may take a minute to find the heatbeat" Nope not true, the minute she put the doppler to my belly, we heard the heartbeat. It was just for a second or two because peanut swam away. Then 30 seconds later peanut came back, and we heard it for like a minute straight. It was amazing. I have fallen even more in love with peanut. I actually have a little life inside me. Very strong and loud at 165BPM Of course I cried. We also scheduled my first ultrasound (in 3D~YAY!!!) For December 11th. I can't wait!!!!

HFW Baby Shower

Since this is the hospital I will be delivering at. Last night I went to Henry Ford Wyandotte for a 'baby shower'. The nurses talked about what to expect while pregnant, and what to expect when bringing the baby home. It was VERY informative. They also gave away a lot of gifts. We also got to tour the rooms. Its nice that I will be in one room before during and after. They showed us 2 rooms, the first one I went into was the 'before & after' set up room. It was very cozy and nice. They have everything you need. But then we went to the second room, the 'labor setup room' I tell you what I was scared. To see the bed broke down for delivery, and the table with all the needed supplies. I was like this is not a happy place~lol I want to go back to the nice room. Well this is feeling really real now. It was great, and informative.
