Well we are home!!!!! After 17 days in the hospital, we are finally home. We actually thought they were not going to release us because he lost an ounce, and thew up after his overnight feeding. But the doctor said he will throw up, but with the new medication, and feeding schedule, it will be less often. So they were comfortable in sending us home. It feels so good, to take our boy home. He seems SO much happier. I just hope he can keep up the good work, and gain some weight. There will be a visiting nurse that comes in twice a week for weight checks. We also had the nurse come in to go over his new machine. It is totally different than the one in the hospital. It is nice, because the machine is small. But it still has to be on a IV pole.
We gave Nathan his big Christmas gift early. He bought him a bouncer, and he just LOVES it. He does not use his feet too much yet, but I am sure he will soon.
That's it for now. I will post again, after the holidays.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
Happy Birthday Matt!!!!!
