Nathan's surgery went just fine. It even took less time then they thought. Except he was in recovery for about 3 hours. They just wanted to make sure he was okay to return to his room. He has a NG tube in (through the nose to the stomach) that way anything fluids in his belly can be expelled. He should have it taken out in the next day or too. They also put in a central line that way if he needs blood drawn they won't have to poke him. They also made the J tube back into the G tube. His incision is about 4-5 inches long. For pain he is getting morphine every 2 hours. So far his oxygen level is pretty good. He doesn't need much. Every so often he wakes up crying, but its cause he doesn't like the feeling from the anateshia. I think once that wears off, he will rest more. That's it for now, I will update more later.
